GENTLE classes, designed for everyone, restore balance in a gentle, meditative way. Our gentle classes are:

Better Backs Yoga uses classic yoga postures to restore and maintain a healthy spine. Special attention is given to chronically tight muscles and joints.

Moonlight Yoga works with foundational postures to slow down and relax at the end of the day.

Restorative Yoga combines a deeply nourishing environment of stillness with postures to encourage a natural process of healing.

ESSENTIAL HATHA classes emphasize foundations - essential yoga principles that free the body and mind from habitual patterns and tension. In these classes all students - even the most seasoned - can be challenged, find balance and inner peace. Because of the varied training of our teachers, we offer the following specialized Essential Hatha Classes:

Eischens Yoga named after its founder, Roger Eischens, uses a deep understanding of alignment and individual differences to elucidate why postures affect us in different ways. Eischens yoga uses the knowledge Ayurveda and the doshas as they are displayed in the students' yoga practices and into their lives.

Essential Yoga with Meditation offers all the benefits of the elemental classes and tops it all off with a 15 minute meditation.

Yoga for Parents offers both mothers and fathers a chance to unwind WITH their children.

Mindfulness Yoga integrates yoga and meditation, guided by the breath, observing "the way things are" without judgement or expectation.

Yoga for the Emotional Body is designed to soothe the emotions as well as the body. Using asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation, students will learn yogic practices to bring balance to the emotional body.

Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative practice holding postures for an extended period of time. Taught in the style offered by Sarah Powers.

ENERGETIC FLOW classes are for those wanting to move or to delve deeply into the intricacies of practice. Our invigorating, flow classes offer challenging sequences designed to de-stress while developing strength, flexibility, internal heat (tapas), awareness and fun. Our Energetic classes include:

Yoga for the Emotional Body weaves all the elements of Elemental Yoga for the Emotional Body into one sweet flow.
