Eischens Yoga With Cheryl

Eischens Yoga focuses on physical and energetic alignment. By recognizing imbalances in the skeleton, muscles and breath the practice guides us toward balance to help reduce pain, relieve tension and increase energy. 

Eischens Yoga’s use of props and hands on feedback looks at how bodies function in specific poses.  Eischens is rooted in Iyengar Yoga and incorporates ideas from Ayurveda, movement theory and kinesiology.  

For the first class in this series of workshops we will focus on the hips and work toward restoring them to their more intended function. We will work in poses that help lift the weight from the hip joint by activating the legs and low abdominals. Through this you can create more space between the bones that make up the hip joint.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is effortless, restful and meditative . It is the perfect compliment to an active yoga practice and a busy life! Restorative yoga encourages us to slow down and cultivate a calmer mind and body.  This supported practice helps us access our parasympathetic nervous system which in turn can lower blood pressure, improve digestion, reduce anxiety and alleviate muscular tension.  Join Sandra Rome ERYT-200 and certified Relax and Renew trainer for 90 minutes of conscious relaxation. Restorative yoga is accessible to everyone;  regardless of age, flexibility or previous yoga experience!
