Samantha first started practicing yoga 15 years ago as a means of exercise and physical recovery from her running practice, however quickly discovered the meditative quality that came along with it. She has found the calming clarity and grounding that yoga and the accompanying breath work brings very beneficial in her otherwise busy and sometimes hectic life.

In 2018 after an ankle surgery, she discovered the use of props to aid in her recovery and has never looked back, fully embracing the use of props to this day to really experience the full expression of her practice.

In 2021 she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Namaste Yoga in Royal Oak with the intension of deepening her practice. She has also earned her Yoga for All certification with Dianne Bondy in 2022 and Yin certification in 2023. Since graduating in 2021, Samantha has felt the pull to share her love of yoga and the use of props by guiding others with an intention towards accessibility and inclusion for all students.

Samantha’s Teaching Schedule:

  • Mondays at 7:15 p.m. - Essential Hatha (studio only)

  • Saturdays at 9:15 a.m. - Complete Hatha (studio + virtual)
