RYT-200
Richelle's journey into yoga wasn't an anticipated career choice but a serendipitous revelation. Starting her practice in 2013, it wasn't until 2020, amid a nationwide lockdown, that she found solace in daily yoga sessions within the confines of her living room. This experience gifted her a newfound clarity and inner peace, compelling her to delve deeper.
Realizing the profound impact of yoga on her well-being, Richelle pursued yoga teacher training through Namaste Yoga, driven by a quest to comprehend the practice that had illuminated her life.
Her path intersected with another field as she ventured into colon hydrotherapy in 2017, fueled by a passion to educate clients about the gut-mind connection. During certification studies in 2021, she unearthed the symbiotic relationship between the colon's health and mental well-being, discovering yoga's role in fostering a healthy digestive system through mindful movement and deep breathing.
Completing her colon hydrotherapy program in 2022, Richelle embarked on yoga teacher training under Ken Aubuchon's guidance. This pivotal experience crystallized her desire to teach and make a meaningful impact within her community. In November 2023, she proudly received her teacher certificate, now sharing her expertise in chair yoga at the Inkster Senior Resource Center while practicing as a colon hydrotherapist at Total Colon Health Care.
Enthusiastic about joining the Namaste Royal Oak Family, Richelle's multifaceted journey seamlessly intertwines her passion for yoga and commitment to enhancing others' well-being through holistic health practices.
