Introducing The Midlife Stretch: Yoga for Hot Messes for women in or approaching menopause. Together, we will learn to embrace our inner goddess and develop a kinder perception of ourselves and our bodies.

Let’s face it, most of us are going into this blind. As a society, we don't always talk openly about things that make us uncomfortable but in true Gen X style, we're blowing the lid off of that! We’ll help you navigate the ups and downs with yoga that will help to observe our bodies and symptoms without judgment while also acknowledging the downright awfulness of it all! We can, and do live in that balance - and we strive to help each and every woman that comes to one of our events to be OK with that balance. Expect plenty of laughs, as you connect with other women who get it. This is more than just a yoga program; it’s a sisterhood of maven warriors supporting each other through every phase of this exhilarating journey.  We invite you to be a part of a supportive community where you can let your guard down, laugh, and reclaim yourself amongst the chaos of menopause. 

Yoga & Malas: Menopause Edition - Half-day retreat

Join Jeannette and Cassie for a day dedicated to nurturing your well-being and celebrating this transformative phase of life with a sense of humor. This is more than just a retreat; it's an invitation to honor yourself, rediscover your resilience, and spend some time nurturing your soul amidst the whirlwind of midlife changes.

Throughout the day we'll take time to share our experiences and hopefully come away with a kinder perception of yourself and your body. But, we do need a schedule to stay on task (IYKYK)!

Schedule:

Hatha/Yin Yoga: We’ll start with a practice that balances movement and stillness to help you embrace the heat—literally and figuratively. 

21 bead Mala: Channel your inner artisan and craft your very own mala beads. This isn't just arts and crafts—it's about creating a personal meditation tool that’s as unique as you are. This hands-on activity will also serve as a tangible reminder of your commitment towards balance and renewal.

*Snack Break *

Meditation: Practice using your mala in meditation and set your personal intentions. Our guided meditation session is designed to help you tackle or embrace the mental clutter and find your inner peace.

Restorative Yoga with Yoga Nidra: This gentle practice focuses on deep relaxation, allowing your body and mind to release accumulated stress. You’ll drift into a state of blissful calm while we guide you through a Yoga Nidra in celebration of these bodies that have gotten us this far!

Dinner and Debrief

  • 2+ hours of yoga

  • Materials for making 21 bead Mala

  • Use of all equipment and props in the studio

  • Refreshments

  • Light catered dinner
